Mesoamerican Traditions: Community and the Ballgame (6–8)
Designed for students in grades 6 to 8, this lesson explores the Mesoamerican tradition of the ballgame. Inspired by Ball Court Model, Nayarit, Mexico, 200 BCE–500 CE, and Vessel with Ballgame Scene, Maya, 600–900, students will learn how to create their own three-dimensional athletic setting.
