Stories in Art

A course for K–12 teachers

Stories in Art is an online course developed for K–12 teachers that focuses on the connections between visual art and storytelling. In it, you will find 10 engaging art-making lessons inspired by LACMA’s collection. Each lesson is designed for specific grade levels, but can be easily scaled up or down. Lessons can be used for in-person, hybrid, or remote learning scenarios. Art materials are limited to items that can be easily found in the classroom or at home.
